hammering the pig

no she's not imitating a blind person , she is wearing protective eye gear as she smashes the f**k out of her pig. august 2012 pre scablands vacay.
this pig allowed talula to buy herself a very nice camera- just before our trip east to the scablands.
this pig was full and had been for sometime really he was a very stuffed pig. she had enough in bills alone to get a camera and will save the rest once we count and roll the change.
talula's done a great job of earning money helping round the house  she will feed tiggy, pick up his poop, fold laundry , change sheets, buff the floor, clean surfaces, help with worms (feeding and cleaning out) and so much more.
these photos are dark not sure what camera was set on- and sometimes you just dont look at the screen...

Soap Lake, wa

Talula at Soap Lake, hiding under the brim of a nice floppy hat. she had a touch too much sun the week prior at golden gardens so we being very safe in this hot week of our trip (though lucky for us it wasn't in the 100s as it had been the prior week.)
Tims having one of his weekend morning freak outs upstairs ...stay away or venture into the short fuse zone (due to mess he doesn't have to deal with during the week perturbing him on the weekend.)
yes we have entered the O.C.D zone don't put anything down please...

coffe in the morning in la Conner

we are back - post a weekend jaunt in the Skagit.
saturday was the 100th anniversary of the northern state hospital and it was fantastic, thank you Judy for putting on something fabulous.
still hankering to see insides of buildings but Judy and her team put on a great tour of the grounds and seemed to manage it all seamlessly. today we left and photographed a few bits- hit a thrift store in Mt vernon and their fantastic food -coop- which was a savior food needed treats to get us back- lots of great locally made treats- for the gluten free traveller.
coffee and  a walk with my parents- thanks for the coffee both! not sure if i prefer Mt Vernon or La Conner more- both full of charm and beauty...Little Mountain Park highly recommended to all who wish a great view and you can drive up to two view points and then hike around or park down and hike up as lots of folks seemed to do just parking along the road.
we went top wards and meandered in the woods  post checking out both views and then had a bit of a picnic. Nice.photos to come.

Pullman, Wa

Waking up to monkey child and her banana

The town of pullman - looking for coffee- carrying our own milk. Having seen some historical photos the town seems to have been pretty unchanged for the past 100 years.
