September stay in Mt Vernon, Little Mountain Park
i love love love this area of washington.
not that i can say the reverse about too many places i have been here - aside from the areas very much stripped and degraded. say the gravel company's they do a good job of making something suck...concrete industry ...although there i become torn by my love of abandonment and the lost aspect of our civilization.
however when trees are involved i am in love, an urge that gets somewhat quashed when one lives in say london for an extended period- being able to access the woods is like having a limb thats been removed return, and a void in one's heart being filled. makes one wonder how ones soul managed to survive without these life forms smack dab in the middle of ones life.
a life without trees is no way to live.
not any more.
the skagit river valley has so much- snow geese are there presently! big white beautiful birds. the eagles will soon begin to party with the salmon full heartidly.
