if i didn't appreciate my daughter walking into the frame life would be frustrating but i find it more amusing then not. certainly more so when the suns glaring and i cant even see that she is in it til reworking things at home on the computer.

First Night Grand Coulee Damn

 here we are having woken up form an itchy night across from the grand coulee damn. we stayed at the coulee inn and suites- had a sort of partial view plus added bonus view of the table right next to the pool which was directly next to our window.
it stunk to be honest but if wanting to stay at actual damn you gotta do what you gotta do -
so we saw the laser light show- it was fabulous retro mind warp.
reminded me of the south park episode where they go to the planetarium.
i got eaten by many mosquitoes while out there in the warm dark with endless star filled sky.

Talula in Riverside Park

 fantastic Talula at Riverside Park- a state park in the city of Spokane- fantastic!
birds of prey galore-
trees and that sweet cedar smell when the sun hits the pine needles - and even the ones on the earth and - as you cruch along the smell just wafts upwards and around.
my favorite smell of washington state.
miss it like hell in the winter- without the warm and the sun to create the aroma.
yes this is my daughter fantastically willing to put on a scary face-
should really be viewed as a flip book.

the many reasons not to own a magnifying mirror!

whilst away for our week of exploration we had three nights at the fabulous Davenport Hotel in Spokane. Very nice (aside from the dog who barked for four hrs - til we finally moved our second night.) anyways i thought about how it used to seem like all hotels and motels had those extending magnifying mirrors-
they don't but the lush davenport did.
just wondering when those disappeared ...
maybe when every one started looking so desperatly shit from eating the shit food.
i don't know, maybe just financial cutbacks and profit making that doesn't allow every hotel goer to look at themselves so closely- should there be a warning posted before using?
i don't know you tell me.

tims beard goes away on a sunday....

sometimes it goes away on sunday sometimes tim is mountain man tim for a couple weeks sometimes its only here for a wee bit.the life cycle is patterned and unpatterned  as is tim's beard.
