hello monday morning people! i am posting some pics - varied and in between. so there is a brunch with airy fairy and poots and meself pic where poots was just not impressed at the atlas cafe in the university village ( one of my fav shopping places yo) then there is pooty round two as a jelly fish and tim as a jelly fish from our sat aquarium trip and well as we now have a member ship people come visit and we can show u fish.
anytime any day. then there is a snout pic of lucy.
SO today what to do with it to not get annoyed with it? mondays are so evil.
at least tim comes home now wayyyyy earlier right and its almo9st liek christmas everyday getting to play outside with daddy and have fun fun fun.
so yesterday talula went from - saying "rubbish " to things she didnt like much to saying "this is rubbish" a sentence explaning her unimpressedness with it all!

she is still asleep it is 952 am. i will let her sleep as long as she stays there . no waking her in mornings . no way.
we found out that little mia had measles post her portugal vacation - neither of talula pr m,ia has had their mmr vaccine- because we have researched the hell out of it and dont find very good things attached - not that we are willing to risk little pooty... anways loads of love oput to ellie and mia and glad you made it through the measles a ok!

week day aquarium trip

all is well it is friday i have been up at my laptop since 7 am. the battery is almost dead now.
what to do this weekend? i know tim would like to speak to his folks and chris by messaging on computer with video and headset.
i am presently waiting for me moms to leave for her doc apt before getting up- just so i can wake up with me coffee without too many questions- or rather none at all. i am tired but couldnt sleep.
so a week til nyc -
rebeps has asked me to read a quote at her wedding. of course i said yes!
not one of those church weddings- much more relaxed and in prospect park in brooklyn on a sunday , nice.
the dog is crying which means the house is empty aside from em and sleeping pooty. now the dog is crying at my door.

its banana sunday without the banana. so well that leaves sunday 9:10 pm.
today it rained and rained and stopped . we went to bellevue a place about 20 mins away over a floating bridge ( and gosh the past week i havent taken hardly any pictures- sorry ) and through some new build areas where apparently alot of californians have moved having been priced outta california.
we had our flex car today- the honda hybred again.
my folks were at a baseball game seeing the white sox play the mariners - the sox lost.
so how does one go back to life? living without constantly feeling like you are the guest that hasnt left but who was meant to?
we are staying here we are staying here.
and oh my god why is carrot top back? the so called comedian has been on two differnet shows and he is such a freak right?
make him go back to the oblivian i thought he had fallen into .
and dont get me started on american big brother (number 8) it is weird and not so americanlly wonderful it makes english big brother seem like a really viable assessment of humanity . american big brother is all completly tv personas waiting to happen - no overweight people no ugly people not any older people (as in above 20 something- although maybe i am misjudging plastic surguried faces i have only seen it the once.
so our next big step is a car right?
i cant muster thinking of any more processes. i have secured mobiles on a family plan for tim and i. i have shizzied the frontier bank's - our new american bank- online site which is like a site put together with somebodies anus - compared to the swishness of lloyds tsb- not that they have impressed me with idiocy in changing my address ( a process whihc will hopesfully be sorted tomorrow only three months after it began.) so here i am comparing online banking now vs then and well maybe i should think about something else right?
and ps why am i watching gene simmons reality show ( yes ) over south park?
talula got some new cutlery today. pink handles. she played with them on the stairs- which she calls the car and makes people sit on them and pretend to drive- she got to the knife and said "CUT, CUT"
her eating habits are now at :
mac and cheese, grilled cheese (still known as cheesey toast), yougurt, cereal, waffles ( wheat free apple cinnamin toaster waffles which are very tasty) crackers, assorted chocolate treats, pasta, bananas, cheese goldfish, and luna bars.
oh yes and chocolate crossaints. but she has been taking fish oil to help the little skin bumps and of course help all that brain developement.
all that talk of food has made me hungry and i may have to go forage. mmm.

the hemp feastival is on

ahh. its saturday. tim is home talula is losing her rag and frankly today is more stressful then mon, tues,weds,thurs, or fri.
tim wants to go to target - which will be like a white trash fun fest on saturday sunday.

the hemp fest is going on this weekend all weekend.
whatever that entales? hemp clothing hemp soap hemp products galore. down by the sculture garden in downtown.
tim's first week over he still worried about the learning curve.
not sure what to do with today - go to library firstly and return some baby einstein dvds and that evil boobahs dvd which we have probably watched 30 times in 3 days.
so whats the big news this week?
WE HAVE A HOME !!!
it is 9053 evanston north! it has a sun room a living room a dining room two bedrooms and a hot tub room, and pantry (kitchen and bathroom as well of course) 1400 SQ FEET ! we didnt get the condo because of the hairlip who got in before us ( sorry if that is a cruel way to describe her - her name is jennifer. ) anyway i am sure it will turn out for the better- we will have a little patio and a little yard. which is nice and a new big playground two blocks away.
so the deposit is paid- loads more due when we move in- but we arent moving til after the 5th of september. eerrrr.
which is kinda ok in someways but lord help us i have had enough to waking up to my parents! i mean fuck i didnt like it when i was 13- 18 right and now well i am in those foul moods that i was back as a teenager so parents - think about it (THIS GOES FOR ME SOMEDAY TOO) maybe those goth teenagers you have brought up wondering why they wont just wear a little colour in their lives? maybe its because those mornings make them want to crawl inside their own soul and disappear.
yes this week has been hard but easy in that tim has worked alot of 7-3 days which are fun and give us family time.

so our new pad is super cool-ladies upstairs are very nice- and they are arty!

and well me getting a job of course both those things come post NYC!!!
NYC we go to late the 31st august and return late the 4th sept.
wedding the 2nd - a sunday.
monday to ourselves. tues morning to ourselves.

we are staying at the marriott - in brooklyn bridge area which looks fantastic- liz our new landlady told us we must take the water taxi from one side to the other to get great views- as well as just walking across that darn bridge.
so the hotel much nicer then staying on the floor of someone i knew when iw as 18 but dont really know now. you know? esp with it being tim's first time to nyc.
erica thought tims first nyc should be as shitty as everyone elses ( in jest of course) but then i thought about it and well my first time in nyc was wicked! i went there when i was a junior and was there for over a monthy for the summer photo programm at sva- and it was wonderful! i stayed in dorms on the poshness of gramercy park and hell a good way to start visiting the place.
me and nyc been seperated for a while though.
last trip was 2004 when i was pregnant.
4 months. i walked all over that bitch of a city and smiled and never wanted to leave- especially as i was returning to bury st edmunds-
and at that point enough had been enough of bury. lovely place but good lord- incest anyone? ami right or am i right? i am not making any judgement calls if you want to reproduce with yer sister, first cousin , mother whatever go on just go someplace where the rest of the world doesnt have to deal with yer umm issues. say a cave.
i have no tolerence today for screaming children or inbreds full stop.
ok as if any of that made any sense i will now go and find some coffee somewhere at the 200 coffee shops in 5 blocks. god i love america.

the time is 6:19 am

the day is weds=hump day. tim has already left for an early start at work. his bus 6:19am. i will pick him up again today at 3 as i did yesterday meeting at REI the sporting shop.
yesterday i picked him up then we went to the beach and then dropped off paper work and finally went to a yoga class which my friend maura was subbing! i hadnt seeen her we hadnt really kept in touch since teacher training last year.
twas nice. tim helped her lock the studio door when they had left her the wrong key.
someone upstairs is making coffee. i will hide until i hear the voice of pooty.
i think she is only just tolerating me -
with tim gone- he comes home and there is no love lost as she swaps to daddy and really wants nothing more to do with me.
i am a part of the problem rather then the solution right?
ok cramps this morning as last night gonna writh around in pain for awhile ..xx

the land of everyday south park

yes life is good when south park is on daily tap. who could ask for more? especially since Tim has found out it doesnt matter if he works early and ends early- no more strictness to the minute of five, whihc is a very nice thing for all. should all go well he will either get home 345 ish or i will pick him up in a flex car with talula in back ready to go to golden gardens beach which undoubtidly include tim getting seaweed put on him by me or talula most likely both.
tim is having pc issues. no comment.
so we are waiting for michaela from the real estate company to get in touch with us regarding the swish condo we may rent. it is kinda small but new and the building rocks- and has a great rooftop patio area for the whole building to share. i will include photos...

check it out. i think it is our number one choice. we do have a number twoand i mean a choice of housing. it is a 1912 farmhouse and on the bottom floor. it has a hot tub in a room full of windows- its kinda lovely. upstairs lives the lady couple landladies and their son. they are very nice and want us to live there - the condo we are compeating with a lady who is beginning a divorce. she wanted iteven though it was the first place she viewed.
fingers crossed we will have a choice - rather then not.
ok its too late to keep going. must lay flat 1030 and a long day behind - i dont like mondays.
and i dont like the song "i dont like mondays" by that twit geldof who i cant say i like much either. xx
